New revelations were made this Tuesday during the defamation trial between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp, when the actress' former nurse testified via recording about notes she wrote in September 2014.
Through a videotaped deposition on Feb. 4 of this year, nurse Erin Falati was questioned about the notes in which she says Heard was "jealous and anxious" about Johnny Depp's fame and his ability to meet women often.
Heard's jealousy and anxiety over Depp's fame
In the notes, Falati wrote that Heard faced "difficulties with jealousy and anxiety issues surrounding the fiancé's fame and ability to interact with women often."
The nurse also mentioned that Heard became "frustrated" during a dinner at a restaurant, and that her "previous defense mechanisms" included "impulsive anger and yelling."
Falati wrote that around 1 am after a hack of her phone, Heard was "irritable, yelling and angry" and that she "sometimes yelled and appeared agitated."
Heard reported her substance abuse
Falati testified that he worked with Heard and Depp, meeting the actress in August 2014. At that time, Heard had reported her "substance abuse, including an addiction to cocaine and liquor," but that she had been off cocaine for a "couple of years" at that point.
"Client admits to a history of anxiety, eating disorder, attention deficit disorder, bipolar disorder, codependency issues and occasional insomnia," Falati wrote in his notes.
Another issue mentioned in the nurse's notes is Heard's occasional comments about feelings of "insecurity and jealousy" when she was away from Depp.
In addition, Heard sent photos of her face to Falati in May 2016, when the couple separated, though she could not recall whether Heard sought medical care from her at that time.
