Lisa Marie Presley says final goodbye to tragic son Benjamin Keough at 'emotional' funeral after tak

GRIEF-STRICKEN Lisa Marie Presley said her final goodbye to her son Benjamin Keough at a private service in Malibu, The Sun can exclusively reveal.

The tragic 27-year-old, who shot and killed himself at the family's Calabasas home on July 12, was celebrated with an "emotional" service.

An insider told The Sun: "It was an emotional day for everyone, the whole family has been left devastated ... Riley in particular is finding it difficult to cope at the moment, they were very close.

"But everyone did their best to come together and celebrate Ben's life and remember how he touched so many hearts.

"It was a struggle for Lisa to find a venue suitable because of the Covid-19 outbreak, and it was a very private service for those who really knew Ben.

"The family gathered before the funeral and then headed to the venue, which was beautifully decorated with cherry blossoms.

The source added: "Ben was placed in an open casket in a designer suit, which shocked some of the guests considering how he died, but his grandfather was also on display at Graceland.

"There was a viewing room and mourners could decide whether or not they wanted to go in and see him one last time."

Elvis, who died on August 16, 1977 after a heart attack following years of prescription drug abuse, was buried in the Meditation Garden at his Graceland mansion in Memphis.

Lisa is believed to have extended an olive branch to mom Priscilla, 73, by inviting her to the service despite their "rocky" relationship, while her half-brother, Navarone Garibaldi, also had a major role at the funeral.

Lisa Marie's twin daughters, Finley and Harper, 11, were with their mother, but their father Michael Lockwood did not attend ahead of the former couple's blockbuster trial next month for their nasty custody battle.

Ben's best friend, guitar player Trevor Lukather, shared a photograph of the two together on his Instagram Story on the day of the funeral, writing: "Today is in honor of my bro bro. There was never a dull moment together."

Since the tragedy, Lisa has been seen spending time with Ben's heartbroken girlfriend, Diana Pinto, who was allegedly celebrating her birthday at the $1.8million home on the night of his death.

He reportedly locked himself in a bathroom at the property and spent hours alone before deciding to end his life - following a longtime struggle with mental health issues.

Elvis's 52-year-old daughter, who was staying at a hotel in Beverly Hills due to mold in part of the house, is said to be "too distressed" to go back to the rented home and has found a new base just minutes away.

A source close to the situation exclusively told The Sun: "They were already dealing with the mold problem and now Lisa doesn't want to return, she is too distressed and doesn't ever want to relive that morning.

"She had been looking for a rental while staying at the hotel, going back and forth to the house only to sort things out, and she's now found somewhere.

"It's the right place for the family to hole up for a while and grieve privately as they navigate this awful time in their lives."

A rep for Lisa Marie declined to comment.
