Crush On You by The Jets peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1986

What a good song! I’ve always loved the electro-synth this song used. It’s funky but poppy and super energetic. This is my favorite song by them.

I always wondered why after 1988 they just stopped having hits, forever. Was so weird.

Eugene (the red head) left the group and formed a group called boys club and had a top 10 hit called “I remember holding you” and changed his name from Eugene wolfgramm to Gene Hunt. I think there’s been a number of versions of the band with different members of the family performing at different times. They are big time Mormons and there’s 17 siblings in the family.

I always liked The Jets, though I didn’t ever look into their backstory. I just knew they were a large family group. Good for them.
